Activities


  • Tubing– you can tube down the river, or go on a cave tubing trip.
  • Balloon trip* – trips in the morning and for sunset, a perfect way to see VV from the sky. Fly over ‘Fluid’ and stop for some refreshments on the way back and view photos of your balloon experience.
  • Climbing*– there are a few walls in VV, the best place in Laos to climb.
  • Trekking* – plenty of places to trek, with or without a guide, lots of small villages, waterfall, lagoons and tribes to see.
  • Kayaking* – half day or full day trips available see a beautiful stretch of the Nam Song, don’t forget
  • Caving*– can be done alone or with a guide, make sure you wear good shoes and take a torch.
  • ATV riding & Dune Buggies: ATVs are available for rent from ‘Le Grande Bleu’ Korean guesthouse and Dune Buggies from the large warehouse opposite Peeping Som's Restaurant.
  • Jungle Fly Zip Lining: You can book a zip lining tour through our friends at Wonderful Tours
  • Boat trips* – can be organised by a tour company or by going down to the pier yourself and hiring a boat, you can ask to stop at Fluid for a drink or bite to eat.
  • Lao style sauna – there are 3 places around town, all quite cheap and it’s a perfect way to revitalise.
